IIFA - Raavan’s launch pad!

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,February 25 2010]

Reports circulating in Bollywood suggest that the eagerly awaited Maniratnam’s ‘Raavan’ might premiere in International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) later this year.

The multi-starrer ‘Raavan’ is nearing completion and is set to release on 18th of June. But sources say, like the previous Maniratnam-Abhishek combination ‘Yuva’ was premiered at IIFA before, Mani would plan to promote his big budget movie in a big way.

The venue for this year’s IIFA is still not decided but Seoul, the capital of South Korea seems to be the first preference. IIFA has the Big B as the brand ambassador, and he would surely like to see his son’s movie at the awards ceremony.

As for Mani’s movie 'Raavan', it is fast completing the post-production formalities.

If IIFA is chosen as the launch pad for the movie, Mani will receive that most wanted international exposure. Mani surely knows how money matters...
